Brown Truck Of Happiness

Look what showed up on my doorstep last week:

Yes, boys and girls, that is one hundred rounds of S&B .338 Lapua Magnum ammunition.  Arriving separately and not pictured were Redding bushing-type neck size dies, what I hope will be the correct bushings, and five hundred .338 Sierra Match King 250 grain projectiles.

I already have the rest of the reloading hardware and consumables, which I hope to move very soon to an undisclosed location near my current residence.  This means that Annie and I should be able to start partying on a regular basis really soon.

This is loaded ammo, correct? Looks like we’ll be setting up on the 300 yard range next trip…

Yes, it is, and yes we will. I still have the remaining 76 rounds that I got from the dude in Dallas, so we could have done it already, but life has gotten in the way. I am really itching to get the 300 zero done and calculate the correction for 200, though. That should be enough to verify the accuracy of my ballistic calculator.
